Briana's Current Natural Favorites
If you’ve read my previous posts, you’ll know how much I love natural skincare. I was recently introduced to the brand Crude, which offers vegan, cruelty-free, nontoxic, and organic products - so some seriously high standards there. For maybe the first time ever, I fell in love with an entire product line, which is a bit crazy. Here are my top 3 picks from the brand:
Not to be dramatic or anything, but this face cleanser changed my life. I have been a devout makeup wipe user as long as I've been wearing makeup, but no more. This gets all of my makeup off. Even waterproof mascara and liquid lipsticks. All of it. Plus it’s gentle and hydrating.
Bloom is a healing serum intended to help with acne and inflammation, nourish dry skin, fade scars, and even brighten dullness. Talk about a multi-tasker! I've been using it primarily to help calm acne and fade scars and I'm pretty impressed with it so far. It has a slightly odd sort of botanical smell, but I don’t find it annoying at all.
Glow is a soothing serum that helps to treat dry skin, razor burn, ingrown hairs, and dehydrated cuticles and hair. A true life saver. It gets rid of razor burn and irritation in no time flat, I’ve honestly never seen a product work so fast.
There you have it! A high quality natural brand that is definitely worth checking out!
Next up, I’ve been super dependent on a couple of products from Dr. Roebucks since the cold weather hit. Like Crude, Dr. Roebucks is a very minimal and natural focused brand. Here’s what I’m loving so far:
The texture of this serum is a little weird to get used to because it’s quite thick, but it absorbs into the skin in no time. Like the name suggests, it’s super hydrating and great for layering under moisturizer for an extra boost of hydration to prevent dry and irritated skin.
This is technically an anti-aging moisturizer, but I love it for it’s super light and luxurious texture and it’s lavender content, which seems to be helping soothe my blemishes while also keeping my face properly hydrated. A real winner!
That’s all I’ve got for now! Feel free to reach out with questions or recommendations!
