4 Current Favorites for the Eyes, Lips, and Face

Things I love: cheese croissants, merging onto the highway without any issue, and testing out new makeup. This season there have been so many new products in the makeup industry to gear up for the holidays, and I couldn’t help but participate in a few of these launches. I have no self-control when it comes to skincare, and even though my mask drawer literally will not close because it is so full, I still found excuses to buy some new skin treats! In terms of makeup, I’ve been loving my current base so I enjoyed playing around with new lip and eye products. Here are some of my favourite new discoveries, along with a few classic favorites.

Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Colour in “Unbutton”

$24 USD/$30 CAD

Who else feels like whenever they wear Fenty Beauty products, they’re a little bit closer to Rihanna? I love supporting Rihanna’s brand since she is so inclusive and works to make makeup accessible to all skin tones. I think Fenty Beauty’s lip products are seriously something else, especially their glosses, so I decided to try out her new liquid lipsticks. Not going to lie, one of the main reasons I wanted to try this lippie out was the stunning packaging, and I was a bit worried that Unbutton would be to light on me, but it’s now my favourite peachy nude. I love the round style of the applicator since it makes it way easier to apply my lipstick. I also love how long-wearing this formula is and how it doesn’t dry out my lips. At this point, is there anything Rihanna can’t do?

Stila’s Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in “Kitten Karma”

$24 USD/$31 CAD

I love all things shiny and glittery, so obviously I had to get my hands on Stila’s Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in the iconic shade “Kitten.” This stunning champagne eyeshadow applies beautifully and really makes your eye makeup stand out. I find that with all glitter there is a risk of fallout messing up your concealer, so when I use this eyeshadow I always make sure to do my eye makeup first and then start my base. Whenever I wear this shadow I get so many compliments, and I think that this is the perfect product for a glittery holiday look. This shadow is definitely not for no-makeup looks, but if you’re going to an event or you’re a glitter fanatic, you should definitely look into these!

Farmacy Honey Drop Moisturizer

$45 USD/$58 CAD

Dry skin isn’t cute, and thankfully the Honey Drop Moisturizer from Farmacy has been amazing for keeping my skin happy and hydrated. This formula is super lightweight and doesn’t aggravate my oily skin, but is also so effective and nourishing. The Honey Drop Moisturizer is light enough that you can wear it under your makeup and it won’t leave a weird film, but heavy enough that it is still super hydrating. I love how plump and bright my skin looks whenever I apply this, and how it absorbs effortlessly into my skin. If you’re looking for a new moisturizer I would definitely recommend this one.

First Aid Beauty Bendy Avocado Concealer

$22 USD/$28 CAD

As a self-proclaimed concealer connoisseur I like to think I have good taste in concealers and correctors. The Bendy Avocado Concealer from F.A.B has been deemed fantastic and is one of my favorite concealers for light makeup days. I love the medium coverage and how it looks so natural but makes such a difference in my under-eye area.  This lightweight concealer never looks cakey or overdone, and has been lovely for my under-eye area, which tends to be a bit dry. It cancels out redness, brightens, and hydrates all at the same time. What more could you ask for?
