The French Edit: French Brands to Shop at the Sephora Sale

Sephora’s Fall Sale is just around the corner (hints at it should be made sometime in November), and I couldn’t be more excited to indulge in some high-end, French beauty goodness! From makeup to hair, Sephora carries a lovely range of well-known French beauty brands to choose from. I’ll post my recommendations for skincare, bodycare, makeup, and hair so you’re ready to fill your carts up once the Sephora Sale launches!

Skincare: Caudalie

The newest limited edition bottle of one of Caudalie’s best-selling products, Beauty Elixir, will probably be the biggest seller from the brand. With the smooth, frosted glass and elegantly gold top, you’d definitely want this sitting pretty on your vanity this holiday season. The most recent product launch, the French Kiss Tinted Lip Balms, either sold separately or in a trio gift set (they’d make great stocking stuffers!). It’s also a good time to stock up on the [divine] multi-purpose oil, Divine Oil. Other recommendations: Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil, Grape Water, Moisturizing Toner, and the Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum.

Bodycare: Clarins

Clarins, for me, has some of the best bodycare products on the market. If you’re looking for a good body scrub, then look no further: the Exfoliating Body Scrub. The Scrub is the best I’ve ever tried. It smells amazing (herbal/medicinal…just Clarins) and the scrub itself is in no way abrasive, but you feel it on the skin so you know it’s getting off all that dry skin. It leaves my limbs smooth and refreshed. Best thing to apply on after you use the Body Scrub? The Contour or Tonic Body Oil Treatments of course! These oils are liquid gold for the body: helps with toning, firming, eliminates excess water, and nourishes the skin. The top-selling bodycare product always seems to be their Hand and Nail Treatment Cream. It’s great for those who have very dry hands, deal with harsh winters, or just want to add an extra pampering step in your beauty routine.

Makeup: NARS

How can you go to a Sephora Sale and NOT get something from NARS? Especially with all their holiday stuff coming out, it’s one makeup brand not to pass up on during this sale. And NARS has made it all about the Lips this holiday season. The Audacious Lipstick Holiday Kiss Collection for starters, is a literal beauty. Gorgeous gold packaging with an incredible lipstick formula to match, it’s money well spent. They also released the Velvet Matte Lip Pencil Duo in 3 different shade-pairing combos, the Noire Et Blanche Audacious Lipstick Coffret, and the Love Triangle Blush/Lipstick Set to name a few.

Hair: Klorane

I can’t not talk about Klorane without mentioning their best-seller, the Dry Shampoo. In particular for me, the Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk. Spread the love of this Dry Shampoo and treat your friends in their stockings this year by getting the Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk 3-Pack (they’ll thank you later). You can throw in a cute and affordable Shower Cap, too! Another recommendation of mine is the Leave-In Detangling Spray with Oat Milk. It’s a lightweight spray that detangles, nourishes, and conditions the hair; it’s left knot-free, smooth, and soft to the touch.
