Briana's Picks for a Glowy Base

There are all sorts of glowy base products out there from illuminating primers to full coverage foundations. Whatever level of coverage you’re comfortable with, there is an option out there for you! Here are a few of my favorites in order of coverage level:

Maybelline FaceStudio Master Prime Blur + Illuminate Primer

This is the most glow-inducing primer I’ve ever tried - and also the most affordable. It immediately amps up the radiance of your skin and leaves you seriously dewy all day long. It works well alone if you just want a little boost, but is also a good way to make whatever you put on top of it a little extra glowy.

Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint

This has hardly any coverage at all, but it does help to even out the tone of your skin and gives you some serious dew. If you have oily skin, the dewiness can get to be a little much over the course of the day, but otherwise this is a fantastic option. I tend to get the most compliments on my skin when I’m wearing this.

Milk Makeup Sunshine Skin Tint

This one is slightly higher coverage than the Glossier, but I would say it’s still just under medium coverage. It’s also slightly less glowy, for a more natural radiance that gives the impression of youthful, healthy skin.

Laura Mercier Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation

Another slight step up in coverage, luminous is the perfect word to describe this foundation. It makes your skin look perfectly lit and naturally glowing. It’s a lightweight and glowy dream.

BareMinerals BarePro Liquid Foundation

The official description for the finish of this foundation is “natural-matte” but I’d say it’s more of a natural satin. If you’re not into overly glowy, but still want to look radiant, this might be the foundation for you. It’s also the highest coverage of the bunch!

There you have it! Hopefully you found an interesting option or two!
