The French Edit: How to Fight Frizz with Leonor Greyl

Living in South Florida humidity is a 24/7 struggle, especially for those of us who have naturally thick, wavy, curly, frizzy hair like myself. Trying to make the hair tame day in and day out is an exercise in itself; but my French go-to’s win against Mother Nature’s humidity every time.

For washing away the frizz, I first reach for Leonor Greyl’s Shampooing Crème Moelle de Bambou. If you suffer from dry, damaged hair the combination of bamboo marrow, Vitamin B, and other plant extracts are the perfect palette. This Shampoo helps smooth, detangle, and nourish for frizz-free, healthy locks.  After shampooing, I reach for their Masque Orchidee, which is also targeted towards dry, frizzy, damaged hair (and safe for those that are color-treated). I comb the mask through and leave on for about 20-30 minutes, then let the hair air-dry after rinsing. Again, with the help of yummy silk proteins, my hair is left silky soft, smooth, managed, and nourished. Once my hair is dry, its noticeable frizz-free and bouncy.

The last finishing touch is the cult-fave Eclat Naturel, which helps style the hair anyway you like and keep it that way until the next washing. Since my hair is naturally wavy and curly, adding a little Eclat Naturel to damp towel-dried hair on my mid-section and ends, makes the waves and curls more prominent and full, whilst keeping my normally dry ends, hydrated.

This 3-step, fuss-free technique has taken me awhile, but I’ve finally got it down to a science. Leonor Greyl, 1. Humidity, 0.
