MAKE Beauty Succulent Skin Gel

At first glance, MAKE’s Succulent Skin Gel doesn’t seem too exciting. A super simple white bottle holds a generous amount of a very mild smelling gel. Here’s the thing though - this gel is filled with ingredients like prickly pear cactus, aloe vera, chamomile, calendula, and comfrey to not just hydrate skin, but also to soothe it and provide antioxidants. So, hydration, soothing, and antioxidants? It’s pretty much the perfect post-sun product.

I use the gel as a daily moisturizer for my face both morning and night. My skin doesn’t need a ton of hydration though, so if you’re on the drier side, you might want to use this in addition to another moisturizer. So far, I’ve also used it on some heat rash, my extra dry joints, and a little bit of sunburn. The gel has worked beautifully in every context. It’s just the right amount of hydrating and soothing enough on the skin to restore it. Plus, the gel texture is ridiculously refreshing on a hot day. Sandwich it between mist sprays for the ultimate cooling experience. It absorbs quickly, but, be aware that it can leave a slightly sticky or tacky feeling behind.

The point is, whether you need something to repair your skin post-inevitable sunburn, a moisture boost for dry spots, or even just want to just incorporate some antioxidants into your skincare routine, this affordable product is worth checking out. I’ve been so pleasantly surprised that I’m looking forward to trying out more of MAKE’s line.
