Michelle's Fall Makeup Edit

Ah, Fall. The season of comfy sweaters, burgundy scarves, and the ever-so-popular Pumpkin Spice Latte. Fall has always been my favorite season, and as the leaves change color, so does my makeup. I love playing with bold copper eye looks and vampy burgundy liquid lipsticks in the Fall. My skincare routine also changes because the cold weather dries my skin out, causing me to swap out some products for more hydrating options.

Here are my top five beauty products for the Fall season!

Morphe 25B Palette “Bronzed Mocha”

This palette is such a great option for any season, but I find it especially fitting for fall because of all the gorgeous bronze and burgundy tones. I love the blend of matte and shimmer shades featured in this palette, and I think the color scheme is absolutely perfect. I like to experiment with darker, more dramatic eye looks in the fall months, and all the amazing taupe and brown shadows in this palette give me a lot of options to work with. As for quality, the Morphe 25B palette has great pigmentation and blends effortlessly. The shimmer shades have a creamy consistency and are so vibrant when applied with your fingertips or a wet shader brush.  This palette has everything you need to create many different fall looks, and as an added bonus, it’s super travel friendly!

MAC Blush in “Raizin”

I could go the entire fall season using only Raizin as a blush and I’d be completely content. The undertone is perfect for my skin, and I love the warm, dramatic flush of color that this blush adds to my cheeks. The hint of brown in this blush almost doubles as a bronzer to add dimension to your face as well which I love. The color payoff of these blushes is incredible, and I love how effortlessly blendable they are. Since the formula is very long-lasting, I rarely have to touch up!

 Lush Brazened Honey Fresh Mask

As the weather gets colder, my skin can’t decide whether it wants to be oily or dry, and I try my hardest to keep things together but I usually end up with rough texture on my cheeks and acne on my t-zone. Brazened Honey from Lush is my saving grace when my skin decides to have this fall-triggered temper tantrum. This mask features a blend of Ayurvedic medicinal ingredients like fennel, turmeric, and ginger to detoxify and balance the skin. Honey helps moisturize, while lemon brightens, and ground almonds slough away dead skin to promote a radiant complexion. I don’t know what I would do without it!

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in “Opal”

Just because it’s no longer summer doesn’t mean I can’t still glow! Unfortunately, when my tan fades, I have to set aside my golden highlighters for something lighter, but Becca’s Opal is no consolation. I am obsessed with how smooth, shimmery, and stunning this highlighter is. I find that it doesn’t emphasize my texture the way that other intense highlighters do, and it blends so effortlessly. The undertone is perfect for when I have pale skin, and it’s my go-to source of glow for fall!

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Vampira

Fall is the season of vampy lipstick, and my all-time favorite sultry burgundy shade is “Vampira” from Kat Von D. I can always count on Vampira to add drama to my fall makeup looks! I think it’s safe to say that Kat Von D’s liquid lipstick formula is considered one of the best on the market. Vampira is so pigmented and doesn’t get blotchy or gross throughout the day which is amazing. It’s definitely my favorite fall liquid lipstick, and I love not having to touch it up after one too many pumpkin spice lattes. It’s a must have for the fall season.
