5 Products for a “No Makeup Makeup” Look

A good No Makeup Makeup Routine is well-loved here because its focus is on perfecting the skin and enhancing certain features. Here are my go-to products that help simplify the process of getting ready without compromising the fresh-faced look.

bareMinerals BarePRO Performance Wear Liquid Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20

$34 USD

Because I have redness and hyper-pigmentation, I still feel the most comfortable using a foundation in a No Makeup Makeup Routine. I picked this foundation up on a whim, but it has quickly become a staple in my collection. This formulation is perfect for this routine because it’s lightweight and has a skin-like finish. It’s also buildable because it provides light to medium coverage with a thin layer (1 pump) or medium to medium-full coverage with multiple layers. The foundation also layers well, so if I had to spot conceal, it would perform like a concealer would. It simply evens out the skin without masking all imperfections or freckles.

PERRICONEMD NO BRONZER BRONZER SPF 30 (1).png

PerriconeMD No Bronzer Bronzer SPF 30

$35 USD

The name of this product is so fitting, isn’t it? The PerriconeMD No Bronzer Bronzer SPF 30 adds the perfect amount of warmth and definition to the face without appearing gray or orange. With a damp sponge, this bronzer blends into the skin effortlessly making it look like you just came back from sitting poolside on vacation.

HOURGLASS AMBIENT LIGHTING BLUSH.png

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush

$38 USD

This is one of my more minimal makeup routines, so wherever I can cut corners, I most certainly will. To add a flush of color to the cheeks, I like using a highlighting blush because it almost acts like a 2-in-1 product. This blush not only provides stunning color payoff, but it also gives a lit-from-within sheen to the cheeks without accentuating pores or fine lines. Even though this is a powder, it works incredibly well in this routine because it blends into the skin so seamlessly when applied with a fluffy blush brush.

Milk Makeup Kush Fiber Brow Gel

$18 USD

It usually takes an army of products to fill, define, and set my eyebrows, but the Milk Makeup Kush Fiber Brow Gel simplifies the process with just one product. This type of product is ideal for people on-the-go because the tint helps to fill in the brows and the brush allows you to comb and shape the brow hairs. The brush on this product allows me to comfortably and efficiently fill in the brows, while also being precise enough for more detailed work towards the arch of my brows. There are also fibers in this brow gel that help create volume and fullness in the brow, which I’m definitely here for. Say hello to full, feathery brows.

Glossier Lash Slick

$16 USD

“Extensions without the extensions” is how Glossier describes their mascara and I’d have to agree. This mascara separates, defines, and lengthens like no other. It honestly looks like your natural lashes, but just the better version of it. Almost every single time I wear this mascara, people compliment me on my lashes instead of my mascara. If you’re looking for an everyday mascara, look no further. I can’t recommend it enough.
