4 Shadows for a Monochromatic Look
Eyeshadows are one of my favorite makeup products. You can create so much with them but they can get complicated from time to time. Sometimes I just need a little something on my lids that I can swipe on with my fingers and that’s where one-shadow looks come into play. Here are my top 4 eyeshadows that are perfect for any kind of one-shadow look!
This product is basically adult glitter. It’s a pressed pigment with insane, yet delicate amounts of glitter on it and it’s a rose-gold coppery color, which is flattering on every skin tone. This is perfect for when you need to look glam but you don’t have time for glam. It also applies best with your fingers so it’s an instant, easy, mess free glitter look.

I’ve had this eyeshadow for years and I still stand by it. Even though it’s drugstore, this eyeshadow is really pigmented and it goes with everything. Since it’s a frosty pale-gold color it gives a glossy effect to the lids without feeling uncomfortable and sticky. It’s also really long lasting and it doesn’t crease much when applied properly. If you’re not really a shadow girl but just want to add something different to your look, try this one out!

I’m a huge Nudestix fan and this is by far my favorite product they make. Unlike the other shadows I mention today, this comes in a stick and it’s matte. The formula blends really easily and it will not come off your eyes until you take it off. The color is the most perfect warm brown that will make your eyes look naturally sexy (is that even a thing ??). If you’re going for more of a grunge look, then I recommend this baby right here.
You can never go wrong with Colourpop eyeshadows. They carry a vast array of colors and finishes in this line and they’re only $5 (#ballinonabudget). I picked this specific shade because it’s a very dimensional shadow. That means that it will look like you have more than one product on your eye, when in reality you only have this on. It looks like you spent hours on your eye look but it was more like 5 minutes. Again, this applies best with your fingers and even though the formula is kinda wet when you touch it, it dries down once it’s on.
