How to Perk Up Tired Skin

My already packed schedule has gotten a little crazier lately, leaving me constantly exhausted. My skin has really been suffering from lack of sleep - we're talking dark circles, dull complexion, and red, irritated skin. I've had to put together a routine to fake looking awake.

Skincare is where it all starts, and I do my best to properly tend to my skin, even when I'm super busy. Exfoliating is key. I love Pixi Peel & Polish because it works in 2 minutes, leaving my skin baby soft and bright. I follow the peel with my current obsession, Kypris Antioxidant Dew. The serum is lightweight and hydrating, giving life back to my skin. If my skin is irritated, I've been using the REN Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream. It is so soothing and protective, plus reduces my redness.

Onto makeup: I love to prime my skin with the Becca First Light Filter Face Primer. It has a very subtle radiant effect that makes my skin look alive. To really get a glow going, I mix a pump of a liquid illuminator (I love Marc Jacobs Dew Drops) into any foundation.

Perhaps the trickiest part for me are my eyes. I have genetic dark circles that are only worsened by lack of sleep. Few eye creams do the trick, but the BeautyRx Gentle Exfoliating Eye Cream works. It has glycolic acid to slough away dead skin cells for a brighter eye area. I follow my eye cream up with the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector. It's peachy to counteract the purple-blue tones in dark circles. A great concealer on top fakes awake eyes, and for me, Tarte Shape Tape is the best in terms of coverage and a natural look.

With this routine, my skin is nurtured, but still visibly brighter. How do you get radiant skin?
