Summer Body Favourites

It’s summer people! Time for enormous unicorn pool floats, denim skirts, and regretting all the donuts I ate in February. Summer glam is all about being bronzed and glowing, and of course that applies to your body as well! Here are some of my favorite body products for the summer season that keep my skin tan, hydrated, and radiant!

SOL DE JANEIRO BRAZILIAN CRUSH.png

$32 usd

I have multiple Brazilian crushes (cc: Allisson Becker *swoon*) but my favorite by far is this delicious body spray from Sol de Janeiro. They created this body spray with their signature pistachio caramel scent after their Bum Bum cream became a cult-favorite in the beauty industry. Usually I like more fruity scents but there’s something about this that’s so sultry and addicting. I’ve been wearing Brazilian Crush almost every day and I always get compliments on it!

$35 USD

Catch me in the sunlight looking like a much tanner version of Edward Cullen. I am so obsessed with body highlighter. From my décolleté to my legs, I aspire to be shimmering at all times, and Ofra definitely helps me accomplish that goal. “Rodeo Drive” is the perfect shade for when I have a bit of a tan. I love applying this on my collarbones and shoulders to add definition and radiance. When I’m wearing dresses or skirts, I’ll bring this down the front of my leg to add a bit of glow.

$36 USD

As much as I love laying out in the sun and working on my tan (with SPF of course) sometimes my skin can get a bit dry. I love this whipped body butter from The Body Shop for so many reasons. I hate when body lotions leave a weird, sticky film but this one just sinks into the skin instantly. My skin feels so hydrated whenever I use this, and as an added bonus, it’s delicious nutty scent reminds me of the beach.

ESSIE NAIL POLISH IN BALLET SLIPPERS.png

$9 USD

Now while we all can’t be Meghan Markle, at least we can wear the same nail polish as her and the queen, right? I love a good nude pink polish in the summertime, and “Ballet Slippers” by Essie is a cult-favorite in the world of nail polish. It looks great with a tan and works with any outfit. I’ve been using Essie’s “Ballet Slippers” for years because it has the perfect undertone and lasts forever. I love that it has just the slightest hint of pink and looks so sophisticated. Plus who knows, maybe if I keep wearing it I’ll magically end up in the royal family.
