5 Texturizing Sprays for Voluminous, Lived-in Hair
Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray
The Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray is a cult favorite that has been raved about for years! It’s designed to absorb oil, build volume, and add texture with light hold. Unlike the others, however, this also adds shine, hydration, and provides UV & color protection.
Ouai Texturizing Hair Spray
If you’re looking for a dry shampoo/hairspray hybrid, look no further than the Ouai Texturizing Hair Spray. This is a super lightweight spray formulated with volcanic minerals to absorb oil while adding volume, texture, and separation with a light hold, but it can leave the hair feeling a little sticky if you use too much.
Amika Un.Done Volume & Matte Texture Spray–
The Amika Un.Done Volume & Matte Texture Spray is my favorite of the bunch! It adds matte, beachy texture without leaving my hair crunchy or stiff and is formulated with the mineral zeolite to build volume. Of the five texturizing sprays mentioned here, this feels the most weightless in the hair, but I also love the fun packaging and the fresh, fruity scent.
Drybar Triple Sec 3-in-1
When I want more grit and stronger hold, I reach for the Drybar Triple Sec 3-in-1. Like its Oribe and Ouai counterparts, this has oil-absorbing properties to refresh the hair while adding piece-y, tousled texture and volume. This is also available in two scents: the dry scent has notes of coconut, vanilla, and amber and the lush scent has notes of violet, sandalwood, and musk.
Kristin Ess Dry Finish Working Texture Spray
For a more affordable option, check out the Kristin Ess Dry Finish Working Texture Spray from Target. This is a great value for the price and gives nice volume and texture with light to medium hold. While I personally like the powdery floral scent, it’s a bit strong and tends to linger, so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to strongly-fragranced products.
